Simple Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 egg
  • Lingonberry sauce for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, grated onion, and egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Roll mixture into small meatballs.
  3. Heat a little oil in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides. Reduce heat and cook through.
  4. Serve hot with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce.
