Grandma's Classic Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts
- 6 Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425F (220C). Line a pie dish with one crust.
- Peel, core, and slice apples. Mix with sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
- Pour apple mixture into crust, dot with butter. Top with second crust, crimp edges, and cut vents.
- Bake for 15 mins, then reduce temp to 375F (190C) and bake for 35-45 mins more until golden.
