Simple Fresh Caprese Salad
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella (bocconcini or sliced)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Steps
- Slice tomatoes and mozzarella into similar thicknesses.
