Steamed Fish with Ginger-Scallion Sauce
Ingredients
- White fish fillet (cod/snapper)
- Fresh ginger
- Green onions
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Vegetable oil
Steps
- Place fish fillet on a plate with slices of fresh ginger and the white parts of green onions.
- Steam the fish until it is cooked through and flaky.
- Remove ginger and green onions, drain any liquid from the plate. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Heat vegetable oil until smoking, then pour hot oil over the fish and fresh green onion greens for sizzle and aroma.
