Steamed Fish with Ginger-Scallion Sauce

Ingredients

  • White fish fillet (cod/snapper)
  • Fresh ginger
  • Green onions
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil

Steps

  1. Place fish fillet on a plate with slices of fresh ginger and the white parts of green onions.
  2. Steam the fish until it is cooked through and flaky.
  3. Remove ginger and green onions, drain any liquid from the plate. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  4. Heat vegetable oil until smoking, then pour hot oil over the fish and fresh green onion greens for sizzle and aroma.
