I love pushing my taste buds, and when I’m feeling adventurous, I always crave a fiery bowl of Kimchi Jjigae. The spice just wakes me right up!

Spicy Kimchi Jjigae

40 minutes • Medium

Ingredients

  • Kimchi
  • Pork belly
  • Tofu
  • Onion
  • Green onions
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • Kimchi brine
  • Water

Steps

  1. Sauté cubed pork belly until lightly browned, then add kimchi and continue to sauté for a few minutes.
  2. Stir in gochujang, kimchi brine, and water, bring to a boil.
  3. Add sliced tofu and chopped onion, then reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
  4. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
