Simple Pork Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Ground pork
  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Napa cabbage
  • Soy sauce
  • Fresh ginger
  • Garlic
  • Sesame oil
  • Rice vinegar

Steps

  1. Finely chop Napa cabbage and mix with ground pork, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create the filling.
  2. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold into desired shape (e.g., half-moon).
  3. Steam dumplings for 8-10 minutes, or pan-fry until bottoms are crispy and then steam briefly with a splash of water.
  4. Serve hot with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce and rice vinegar.
