Classic Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

  • Ground lamb or beef
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Peas
  • Onion
  • Beef broth
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Butter
  • Milk

Steps

  1. Brown ground meat with chopped onion, then stir in diced carrots, peas, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer.
  2. Boil and mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the meat mixture into an oven-safe dish, then top with the mashed potatoes.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
