Simple Miso Soup

15 minutes • Easy

Ingredients

  • 4 cups dashi broth
  • 1/4 cup miso paste
  • 4 oz firm tofu, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into strips

Steps

  1. Bring dashi broth to a gentle simmer in a pot.
  2. Remove a small amount of dashi, whisk in miso paste until dissolved, then return to pot.
  3. Add diced tofu and heat through for a few minutes. Do not boil once miso is added.
  4. Ladle into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and nori strips.
